Watching the weather report on the evening news, the weather map showed rain in a vertical line going from north and south, creating showers from Flagstaff to Tucson, but nothing was falling in Phoenix.
“Look at that, Mom, it’s raining north of us and south of us, but it’s like a blackhole here. Why can’t we get some in the middle?”
“Because the rain comes from the west!”
